On Sunday, May 23, 2010 we ordained Ken Hale and James Herring to the position of Ruling Elders at New Hope Church. Each one of these men brings with him his own special gifts when it comes to our church. The ordination and celebration took place among church members and friends of New Hope. We look forward to the many blessings, God has already bestowed upon us through the growth of our Elders, and we also wish the families of our new Elders, God’s strength and protection.

The members and staff of New Hope Church wish also to express our gratitude and thanks to Elder Ted Stewart and his wife Mary Ellen for their service and support both as an Elder and as the leaders of our young disciples' classes. They are taking some time off to see where God wants them to serve next.
